2D/3D Magazine

For this project, two designers had to be chosen (one 2D and one 3D) and their styles had to be combined to create one cohesive magazine. The two designers that I chose to use were David Carson and Lee Alexander McQueen. By choosing these two designers, I was able to create a magazine that had a very dark and grungy feel to it.

The majority of the work was done away from the computer by taking segments of photocopies from an old printer and then layering them together. Layered images would then be scanned in and altered using Photoshop and Illustrator, creating the final imagery shown here.
